0. Tips

For screw hole making:
Fusion 360 already has the function of screw making in a hole.
However, I do not recommend it for a small hole screw with less than 6mm diameter.
In this case, you have to use a tap and holder.
In general, the hole under the screwing is about 0.8 x hole diameter.
For example, a 6mm screw needs a 4.8mm hole.
However, in 3D printing, the hole diameter slightly decreases by a heat dilatation.
So, we design the hole diameter 0.1mm or larger.

Also, some heat is generated in the tapping process, and the inner hole PLA is melted.
So, we should use a tap more slowly or intermittently rather than metal processing.

ネジ穴を作る場合の注意．
Fusion 360にはすでにネジ穴を作成する機能があるが，我々が工作で使用するような6mm以下の
ネジ穴ではうまく行かないので，おすすめしない．
その場合には金属用のタップとタップホルダーを使う．
一般的にネジ穴は使用するボルトの８掛けの直径の穴をした穴として開ける．
しかし３D印刷の際には，熱で小さな穴はふさがりやすく，0.1mmかそれ以上に少し大きな穴で設計したようがよい．

またタップ使用時には熱で穴のPLAが溶けることがよく生じる．これを防ぐために，金属加工のときより
ずっとゆっくりと，また間欠的にタップを使用するべきである．

Mainly I use standard PLA filaments.
However PLA+ or PET is recommended to use under strong forced or water/wet conditions.

2. Preparation <Optional> I strongly recommend to use such options to avoid the filament trouble during printing.

3. Software

3DCAD is need to make our 3D models.
Our first choice is Fusion360 by AutoDesk.

Please use your country version of above sites.

We can use a freeware version of Fusion360 after our registration.

Also, we need a slicer.
Cura is our recommend.
