Colored large minerals under XPL and pale green under PPL are hornblendes. Grey colored under XPL are zoisites. Zoisites look like rice particles having cleavages perpendicular to the elongate direction under XPL and some are bearing blue grey colors (the abnormal interference color). These are the spesific feature of zoisites.

PPLで淡緑色，XPLで色の着いた大きな鉱物は角閃石，XPLで灰色の鉱物はゾイサイト．ゾイサイトはXPLで伸長方向に垂直なへき開を持つ米粒のように見える．またあるものは灰青色の異常干渉色を帯びる．これらはゾイサイト（ゆうれん石）の特徴．
