美山町（福井県）の角閃石ひん岩 横幅8.8mm．写真の下に説明．薄片写真：クロスポーラー（XPL)．マウスを乗せるとオープンポーラー（PPL)．
Coloered minerals are almost hornblendes with a few ortho-pyroxeines.
A hornblende shows a rhombus profile with beautiful 120 degree
cleavages. Grey colored phenocrysts are plagioclases, bearing twin
stripes.
Some of them have zonal structure showing their crystalizing
processes.
有食鉱物は角閃石が多い．斜方輝石も一部ある．角閃石には120度のへき開を見せるものが中央に見える．灰色（双晶の縞模様）は斜長石がほとんど．中に結晶成長のあと（塁帯構造）が見えるものがある．
