Basaltic lava forming Chausuyama near Matsue City. The lava contains euhedoron and subhedron olivine, plagioclase, monoclinic pyroxene, and orthopyroxene as phenocrysts. The ground mass is also composed mainly of plagioclase, with yellow olivine and pyroxene. The size of the plagioclase in the groud mass is somewhat uneven. The flow structure is not so remarkable. Isingitized olivine pehnocrysts, which are seen in basaltic lava typically in Genbudo, are not observed.
