Coming soon about Climate Changes.

Continental Drift and Plate tectonics
The following web book is recommended.

What is the driving force of moving plates (Continental drift); classic and new question!
Old idea: mantle convection drives plates. (before 1980's)
New idea: heavy(cold) subducting plate drives plate by itsellf. "Table cloth model": table cloth sometimes drops by itself.

Hot spots: Hawaii Island is one of this example. The magma repeatedly erupt and active, however the oceanic plate moves continuously, so the active volcano chain is made. some of old volcanoes now not active remains as sea mounts.   example: The emperor sea mounts on the Pacific plate.

You can see a lot of example of power law at the page 6, Fig4.
Please check the caption.

If you interested in geology also in Thailand geology, the following pdf is recommended.
Thai Geological Site (very beautiful pdf, and very good explanation of surface processes)

1. Earth Rocks!
https://www.ccsf.edu/en/educational-programs/school-and-departments/school-of-science-and-mathematics/earth-sciences/Courses/EarthRocks.html

They have also a Thai version. But the videos are in English.
The videos are very good resources for you self study about ERS.

2. Planetary Geology/ Introduction to Basic Geologic Principles (takes some time to download!)
My best recommendation!
http://www.geo.brown.edu/research/Milliken/GEOL0810_files/PlanetaryGeology_BackgroundMaterial.pdf

Very good text book for high school students and college level.
Beautiful images and simple English!

3. Physical Geology PDF
(takes long time to download!)
https://web2.mlp.cz/koweb/00/04/24/15/79/physical_geology.pdf

A college level text book for geology. If you have interest to geology
this text book is recommended.
